The Market
Welcome to The Market, a vibrant and cheerful nook where colorful price tags line shelves stocked with pretend food! At Pretend Playland, we encourage healthy eating as little shoppers fill pint-sized carts with fruits, veggies, nuts, and flavorful seasonings. Children eagerly navigate the aisles, checking off their lists or grabbing favorites, then head to a tiny checkout counter complete with a toy register, scanner, and even aprons for those pretending to work. This grocery store is so fun, you’ll want to shop here too!
Little Flower Shop
Step into our whimsical pretend floral shop, bursting with vibrant blooms in every color. From happy sunflowers to fluffy peonies, each flower is crafted to look just like the real thing. Children can arrange their own bouquets using miniature vases and hand-sewn floral bags, mixing and matching colors and textures. Out front, a little garden invites them to plant and pick flowers, while inside, playful posters share fun facts about nature and creation.
The Diner
Who doesn’t love a juicy burger or a tasty plate of tacos? Our little restaurant has plenty of pretend food on the bar for kids to choose from! With little menus, they can play chef, waiter, or customer. We think this room is great for learning the importance of teamwork and creativity as children collaborate with friends to create their own culinary designs.
Builders & Construction Zone
This pretend construction zone is full of activity! At the heart of the site, a bustling work area awaits, complete with miniature tools, pretend foam bricks. Children can put on their hard hats as they prepare to tackle the task at hand. Our busy board captures the attention of budding engineers, with a maze of hinges, screws, and gears waiting to be explored. Children delight in turning knobs and twisting screws, experimenting with cause and effect as they engage in hands-on learning.
Sweet Brews Cafe
We have a beachy vibe walk-up coffee and dessert shop where your kiddo can be ready to take orders and serve up delicious concoctions. We have a little espresso machine, and the little display case has an assortment of cookies and cupcakes that are cute and colorful. Whether they're brewing coffee, stacking ice cream scoops, or sharing sweet treats with friends, children are sure to have a deliciously good time in this whimsical cafe!
Tiny Stamps Postal Store
Here you’ll find a bustling shipping area awaiting, complete with miniature cardboard boxes to weigh on a scale, roll down our spinning rack, and sort into colorful bins to prepare to send packages to destinations near and far! On the wall, a colorful map showcases different cities and landmarks, sparking curiosity and inspiring young adventurers to explore the world around them. We even have little letters and mail that is addressed to be delivered to all the local businesses in Pretend Playland!
Cozy Little Home
Step into a tiny space filled with the warmth of home and the excitement of everyday life. This home is filled with props that spark creativity and encourage imaginative play. In the kitchen, tiny chefs whip up imaginary feasts with miniature pots and pans, pretend stove, and a toy refrigerator stocked with make-believe ingredients found at the local pretend grocery store! The laundry room has a small washer and dryer ready with baskets waiting to be sorted, washed, and folded! In the nursery, kids will find a little crib and a miniature changing table ready to care for pretend babies. Afterall, some of the best memories are made at home!
Little Hospital
Children can play doctor or patient in our pretend hospital, a charming space filled with colorful medical educational charts. The examination nook is stocked with miniature medical and dental tools, bandages, and eye-care equipment. Kids can check and treat patients while learning about the human body. We even have a pretend pharmacy, where they can discover the importance of following doctors’ orders and staying healthy while exploring the fascinating world of healthcare!
Mini Motors
There is so much to see here at Pretend Playland, so make sure your car is ready to get around town! We have a miniature fuel pump and charging station as they prepare for their journey ahead. Our pretend drive-thru car wash even has little sponges and towels for detail work for the finishing touches to scrubbing away imaginary dirt and grime.
The Great Outdoors (coming later)
Kids will love our pretend camping site! Step into a serene natural setting where the wonders of outdoor adventure await since the little tent is surrounded by towering trees and little stars above. The crackling campfire has little plush kits to make s'mores. We have a pretend pond with a wooden bridge going over the water, providing the perfect vantage point for magnet fishing! Children can cast their magnetic lines into the water, eagerly anticipating the thrill of reeling in their pretend catch. This area will absolutely make them dream of adventures in the great outdoors that God created!
