ONLY $15 to play, yippee!

My name is Brittany and I'm a mom to a five-year-old daughter! I'm happily married, and as a family, we absolutely love playtime, crafts, cooking, socializing, and vacationing. When my daughter first started walking, I created a simple little “Pretend Playland” upstairs and I quickly realized it was the most fun spot in our home. I’ve always cherished those mom-and-kid playdates where we could sip a coffee while the kids dove into their imaginations and honestly, we often joined in too because, who doesn’t love miniature everything?! 

Community and get-togethers have always been where I thrive and I want other families to have a place to build those kinds of connections as well. And let’s be real…sometimes it’s just nice not to clean up, and other times it’s refreshing to enjoy a space that’s set up differently than home, where kids can learn, play, and explore. 

After more than ten years being in the wedding industry, I took my passion for events and created this new location for playtime, special classes, a unique gift shop, and birthday parties…all inspired by the dreams God has placed on my heart over the last five years.

These are such special years with our kids, and I hope this becomes a place where you can make beautiful memories with your loved ones and friends!

A few years ago my workspace flooded unexpectedly and I had to relocate overnight just to keep my floral business running. Me and my team worked out of a neighbor’s unused living room for two weeks while I searched desperately for a new spot. This space I eventually found wasn’t even listed, but God opened the door and led me straight to it. 

On move-in day, a group of my Bible study girlfriends came to help, and as we carried things through pouring rain and a full storm (so rare for California) …a DOUBLE rainbow stretched overhead from my house to this new space! We all stopped, took pictures, and just stood there in awe. It felt like such a significant moment, God reminding me to trust that everything was going to be okay. 

For a few years I've actually wanted to open this, but other locations I looked at just weren't "right". Then one day, I had the thought of relocating the floral business into a nearby warehouse and transforming this location into what is now Pretend Playland. 

I hosted my daughter’s 5th birthday party here as our soft opening, and that morning I remember wishing for reassurance that this brand-new venture would be okay. And guess what? During the exact hour of her party…a RAINBOW appeared! 

I share this because His presence has been so evident in my life, clearly in this 1020 space, and I hope is in yours as well. These moments (and extremely rare rainbows) aren’t coincidences, they’re intentional reminders that He is present and working in our lives.
